This 8 hour accredited course is for the licensed asbestos abatement workers to refresh existing knowledge and update the student regarding changes in the asbestos industry. This course meets or exceeds EPA’s AHERA regulation requirements and OSHA standards for Class I and Class II operations. The EPA Model Curriculum for training asbestos workers is used, including the following topics: History and uses of asbestos, potential health effects of asbestos exposure, personal protective equipment and respirators, waste handling and disposal.
