F&R Announces Three New Senior Professionals

Dan Schaefer, chair of the F&R Senior Professional Committee announced that three new professional staff members have successfully completed our Senior Professional Program and received certification as a Senior Professional by a board of their peers.

We are pleased to introduce our new “Seniors”:

Jeffrey S. Morris, PE, Senior Engineer –  The Geotechnical Department Manager in F&R’s Richmond office, Jeff has degrees in Geology and Civil Engineering and over 30 years of international geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering experience.

Alyssa S. Budlong, PG, Senior Environmental Professional – Alyssa has a BS in Geology and an MS in Coastal Geology.  With more than 13 years of experience as an environmental geologist she has served as a project and client relationship manager in the Richmond Environmental Department for six years.

Elias N. Ruhl, Senior Environmental Professional – With a degree in Biology and over 13 years of diversified environmental experience from industrial hygiene to due diligence and wetlands investigations, Eli manages the Raleigh Environmental Group.

F&R’s Senior Professional Program was created to serve employees and clients alike by providing experienced professionals with the mentoring and training required to serve as an in-house technical expert and a client and project technical resource. In addition to providing leadership and direction to all technical staff, F&R’s Senior Professionals act as subject matter experts, conducting rigorous report and process review and ensuring that all project management and client deliverables are in keeping with our highest standard of care.
