F&R Richmond Certified Welding Inspector Keith Hurte celebrates 15 Years!!!

F&R is celebrating 15 years with Keith Hurte, CWI, a Metals/NDT Technician in our Richmond, Virginia office. Keith has worked on numerous projects in and around Richmond, including the VCU School of Allied Health Professionals and the Richmond Raceway Infield. He also performs structural steel inspection of fabrication at various plants and assists engineering personnel in structural integrity determinations.

“I’ve worked with Keith for 15 years and during that time he has been a great sounding board to ask questions and to bounce ideas off of. We have shared many work experiences and case histories. Keith is one of the few Certified Welding Inspectors and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) technicians around these parts. Keith is a valuable member of the F&R team and it has been awesome working with him all these years.”

               ~Marcus Swailes, CWI

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Keith on the new General Assembly Building project. He is thorough, professional and very knowledgeable in his field. Whenever I’ve called he’s been very responsive and timely! Great coworker!”

~Tyrone E. Branch, Senior Inspector

Congrats Keith. Time flies when you’re having fun. Keep catching those big fish.”

               ~Charlie Crim, Forensics Engineer

“I first met Keith around 2000 when he was working for a reinforcing steel plant in Farmville. He was intrigued by my UT machine, and my AWS CWI. He began working for F&R Richmond shortly after and earned both of these certifications himself. He has since added MT and PT! Cheers to his drive, his skill set and his happy personality! Keith, I’m honored to have you as co-worker…..and more so as a friend.

~Brett D. Clarke, Metals/NDT Services

Keith, congratulations, may you have many more!”
