As a child, Santhosh was fascinated with engineering marvels such as super long bridges, tall buildings and huge dams. At a young age, he told his mother that he would grow up to become a Civil Engineer, and a dozen years later in 1994, Santhosh graduated from Osmania University, India with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. His fascination for soil mechanics and foundation engineering lead him to pursue a Master’s Degree in the United States at The Florida State University.
Santhosh began his career at F&R in May 2000 and has been a part of the F&R family for almost 20 years. Over the years, he has grown from being a Staff Engineer to becoming the Assistant Branch Manager of the Raleigh office. He loves talking to and getting to know his clients. He is very passionate about developing strong client relationships by being responsive, providing quality services, and value engineering. From managing and mentoring staff, to evaluating geotechnical field and laboratory studies, to construction inspections and project management, Santhosh has done it all. His most rewarding accomplishment has been growing the CMT Department from a few Technicians and Project Managers to a staff of nearly 30. Over the years, his department has earned the reputation for delivering projects under budget in a safe environment with the highest level of quality.
When he is not thinking about work, Santhosh loves playing tennis, watching sports and cooking delicious Indian food (just ask us for his recipe for Galab Jamun – YUM).
