Adam was born just outside D.C. and raised in the small town of Damascus, Maryland. A child of immigrants, he grew up in rural Americana. Adam has always sought to understand the full spectrum of possibilities in a particular situation before he makes a judgment or a decision. As a history/law student at the University of Southern California, he delighted in learning from the true diversity of a campus community strengthened by American and international students from all over the planet.
After graduating, the Great Recession spurred Adam to adapt and change careers from the liberal arts to the engineering disciplines. Adam returned home to Maryland and earned a degree in engineering from the University of Maryland – Baltimore County. He began his career as a geotechnical/CMT field and laboratory technician in Howard County. Here, he learned many of the skills that would be required years later to effectively train and lead his staff as Branch Manager of the Hunt Valley office.
His experiences include earthwork monitoring, subgrade inspections, bituminous materials, concrete/grout/mortar, floor flatness, post-tension cables, and drilling/geotechnical services. He has a family of five that resides in southern Pennsylvania.
