As a result of an ever-expanding student population, the Oconee County School District determined that the Fair Oak Elementary School needed to be expanded in several key ways, including new classrooms, cafeteria, and gymnasium. This project also vastly improved the energy efficiency of the facility.
Froehling & Robertson, Inc. was involved during the entirety of this $6 million-plus project. Early on we provided geotechnical engineering reports and foundation recommendations.
These geotechnical efforts were followed up with materials testing and special inspection services during the construction phase. F&R’s engineers and field technicians provided testing and inspections in the areas of:
