One of the key elements of Froehling & Robertson’s long running work at Fort Belvoir has been the construction of the Fort’s new Community Hospital.
This $747 million facility is six stories tall and encompasses more than 1.2 million square feet. The project included two parking garages and surface parking for 2,600 vehicles, a helipad, ambulance shelter, and dedicated energy plant.
F&R provided all required construction materials testing services as part of the contractor’s three-phase quality control program for the construction of the facility. Our engineers and technicians specifically provide testing and inspection services in the areas of:
