Naval Medical Center

This two and a half year project consisted of the removal of the exterior wall brick veneer, new main entrance canopy, and roof replacement on Building 3.

Froehling & Robertson, Inc. performed on-call construction materials testing and Special Inspection services required for field quality control for the following elements of construction:

  • Special Independent Observation,
  • Cast-in-Place Concrete and Earthwork,
  • Masonry (Mortar and Grout Cubes), and
  • Structural Steel.

All of F&R’s services were diligently coordinated with the project superintendent.

Our field personnel communicated with on-site representatives and daily field reports were prepared to document testing activities. Formal reports were issued to the Client, Architect, the Structural Engineer of Record, and the local Codes Compliance office for Special Inspection services performed by F&R, unless otherwise requested.
