Quirk Named New Manager of F&R’s Hunt Valley Office

Froehling & Robertson, Inc. is pleased to announce that Brendan Quirk, P.E. has been promoted to the position of Branch Manager for the company’s Hunt Valley, Maryland office.

Brendan has been with F&R for eight years. Prior to this promotion, he was a Staff Engineer in both our Crozet, Virginia and Hunt Valley operations. In these positions, he acquired a broad diversity of experience that will serve him and our clients well.

He began his professional development studying at James Madison University where he gained experience identifying the characteristics and attributes of the different geologic environments and formations of the east coast. After achieving his Bachelor’s degree in geology, he continued his education at Virginia Tech, earning his Master’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on geotechnical engineering.

Brendan has worked on projects located throughout Virginia and Maryland, producing reports of Subsurface Exploration and Geotechnical Engineering Analyses for construction projects of all types and sizes. In addition to his emphasis on geotechnical work, Brendan has served as a project manager for countless CMT projects. As a result of his exemplary work in the realm of construction materials testing, he was awarded F&R’s 2014 CMT professional of the year.
