Jennifer “Jen” Proctor serves as F&R’s Director of Fleet and Facilities, operating from the Richmond, VA Corporate office. Jen is an accomplished operations professional who brings expertise in Six Sigma and Business Process Mapping to this role. Her responsibilities include the oversight of F&R’s vehicle fleet and facilities portfolio, with a focus on developing and implementing effective management strategies to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

Jen is drawn to the operational field because of the opportunities it provides for interpersonal connection. She finds great satisfaction in the collaborative aspect of operations management, particularly at the branch level, where teams work together to identify and implement improvements in productivity.

A native of Canada, Jen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Marketing from Concordia University in Montréal. And yes, she does speak French! Family ties played a significant role in Jen’s decision to make Virginia her permanent home after initially moving to the U.S. for work. She joins her husband, Sam, as part of a long line of Proctor family members who have contributed to F&R.

Outside of her professional commitments, Jen is a dedicated oil painter, focusing on landscapes and seascapes, and exhibits her work at The Studio School with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Her other interests include knitting, traveling to Maine, and spending quality time with her children and two dogs. She also looks forward to resuming her shared passion for sailing with her husband as their children enter their college years.
