Congratulations to F&R Senior Industrial Hygienist Amanda Sandidge Engstrom, CIH, CSP, who has been recognized with the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Mountain Valley Chapter Robert P. Calhoun Service Award. This award is presented to a member of the volunteer service committee and recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond the expectations and responsibilities of the role.
Amanda has been an invaluable asset to the service committee, consistently demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills. Her contributions include the effective
coordination of meetings, consistent email communication with all members, and the successful design of a new group logo. As editor of the monthly newsletter, Amanda’s outstanding work recently garnered national recognition, being featured in the June edition of ASSP’s Professional Safety Journal. She also holds the position of Secretary for the local Chapter.
