Congratulations to F&R Environmental Scientist Lucas Powell, who was named a 2025 Richmond’s Finest Honoree by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Virginia Chapter. This prestigious program celebrates accomplished young professionals in the Richmond area who demonstrate exceptional leadership, professional success, community involvement, and a philanthropic spirit.
As a Richmond’s Finest Honoree, Lucas committed to an intensive campaign aimed at raising vital funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Throughout the campaign, he actively participated in networking and educational events designed to deepen understanding of cystic fibrosis and amplify the CFF’s mission to find a cure.
The annual Brewer’s Ball in Richmond, hosted by the CFF Virginia Chapter, serves as the grand finale for the Richmond’s Finest campaign. Held recently at the Science Museum of Virginia’s Thalhimer Pavilion, the Brewer’s Ball provided the opportunity to celebrate the 2025 Richmond’s Finest Honoree class of 30 individuals who collectively raised more than $300,000 for the CFF.
