F&R is proud to announce that we have been honored with the MWSBE Award for Outstanding Achievement in Professional Services at this year’s Charlotte Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week celebration. This prestigious recognition highlights F&R’s commitment to excellence and our success as an MWSBE partner of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS).
Charlotte MED Week is an annual event dedicated to celebrating the economic impact of MWSBEs and fostering connections between diverse entrepreneurs and major government and corporate entities. It serves as a key venue for CMS to connect with minority-owned businesses like F&R for their significant capital projects.
Recent CMS projects that F&R has supported with environmental consulting, geotechnical engineering, or construction materials testing services include Beverly Woods Elementary, Cato Farm Property, and Billingsville Montessori. Currently, F&R is working with CMS on its premier Second Ward High School project, a new state-of-the-art medical and technology magnet high school located on the historic school site. Other significant projects F&R has supported include Myers Park High School improvements, Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences renovations and additions, and Olympic High School and West Mecklenburg High School Stadium Improvements.
“We are thankful for our long-standing partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools over the past decade. We’re eager to continue supporting future CMS projects and embrace the opportunity to have a positive impact in the Charlotte community,” said Roy Lindland, F&R Business Development Director.
F&R is deeply grateful to the business, government, and community leaders responsible for Charlotte MED Week and CMS for this recognition. We value the opportunity to support essential projects in Charlotte, and we appreciate that MED Week provides a crucial platform to celebrate and elevate minority-owned firms.
