Alex Sabra is a cultural anthropologist with more than 18 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. He began his career as a field technician at multidisciplinary engineering consulting firms and progressed through roles in design, inspections, team leadership, marketing, business development, and strategic advisory. He was later invited to become a partner at a construction inspection firm in Maryland.
Alex played a leading role in business and staff development, aggressively driving key initiatives in management and operations. He developed new service lines for the firm, including data collection and analytics. His expertise includes SWOT analysis, strategic planning, marketing, business development, operations, market strategy, client relationships, staff mentoring, and service expansion.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a specialization in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Maryland at College Park. In 2007, he traveled to the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, where he lived with an indigenous tribe while researching tropical forest ecology, hunting and gathering techniques and practices, and various cultural aspects. Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with family, reading, cooking, and traveling. He is also a published fiction author.
