We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone for F&R: the opening of our newest branch location in Danville, VA! The new Danville branch marks a strategic expansion into Southern Virginia, allowing F&R to enhance service delivery and support for clients in a region experiencing significant development and revitalization.
The Danville branch, located at 2249 Goodyear Blvd., marks F&R’s strategic expansion into Southern Virginia, a region experiencing significant development. The new location was selected to enhance F&R’s service delivery and client support in the region, enabling our local team to contribute to the growth of the key Virginia/North Carolina corridor.
“We are confident that Southside is an emerging business destination not only in our Commonwealth but also in the nation,” said Sam Proctor, F&R Chief Executive Officer. “I am very hopeful and excited to be a part of the area’s growth over the coming decades. The teamwork among the state, combined local and regional economic development organizations, and the wider business community has brought everyone together with a common purpose. We are equally proud to introduce Craig Melton, P.E., as the Branch Manager for the new Danville branch. Craig brings 25 years of industry experience, specializing in special inspections, construction materials testing, and structural engineering for major building, transportation, and utility projects. As a native of Danville, he brings a deep personal investment and local insight to his leadership role.
“I am excited about the opportunity to start a Branch in Danville,” said Craig. “I think there is a buzz in the city now, and all signs seem to be pointing to growth in the area. Being a part of the growth where I grew up is a challenge I welcome.”
Operations at the new F&R branch are already underway, with the firm actively engaged on prominent regional projects for the cities of Danville and Eden, NC. We look forward to partnering with more organizations as we settle into the neighborhood. We can’t wait to grow with you, Danville!
