F &R’s services were retained to provide geotechnical engineering and a subsurface investigation, as well as construction materials testing and special inspections for the Iredell County Jail Expansion. The project involved construction of a five-story building addition to the south side of the existing jail facility and other government buildings situated on approximately 9.6-acres. Additional parking and a retaining wall were also constructed as part of the addition project.
F&R was able to provide a seamless transition from the design phase to the construction phase to keep the project moving quickly and efficiently.
